It was empty and now I know why. The waitress took over 15 min just to ask what we wanted to drink. After 30 min we were able to order. Enchiladas montadas, flautas, Plato mexicano and tacos. Everything was tasteless and food tasted like it's been sitting for awhile. Tortillas were chewy for some reason. Prices are very high. Paid about $90 and it was a waste of money. I won't be coming or recommending anyone.
This place is a little ran down. The prices are outrageous. I paid almost 40 dollars including the atm fees since they don't take debit/credit for 2 "fancy" tortas and fries (no drink). The tortas were nasty, it had colitas de pavo inside of them that tasted like it had been sitting out for a while, mostly hard fat. The fries came out brown in color meaning they probably haven't changed the frying oil in a while. Now I understand why there was no one there. The food is not worth the money spent..it's a little pricey for what it is.
First and last time coming here. Over 30minutes waiting, price on the Windows was not the same price as on the menús. The supposably refried beans where all dried and burned the shredded Meat was all dried rice had no favor. And to top it off when we told the old man on the wheel chaira he got upset. Horrible place dont recommend it at all.
Before entering the establishment, pricing signs posted outside gave certain prices for certain items come to find out of course, those prices were altered and changed on the menu inside. The tables were sticky as was the floor and the staff was extremely rude. No greeting and just kept asking impolitely for my order. Tried to build rapport and be friendly with staff only to get the cold shoulder. I specifically asked three times about an item on the menu and pricing but upon check out it was incorrect and over charged. I attempted to pay anyhow before they pointed to a small, covered sign at the register that said cash only in very small font. Thank goodness for their ATM that charges an additional 3dlr fee. At the end of the day the food was overpriced, sloppy, stale, and flavorless. The rude staff was the worst part. No thank you, no mentioning of a wrong order, just pay and leave. I enjoy supporting local vendors but when they are run like this, it makes me wonder how they remain afloat. It must be their deceptive practices. Never again.
First time here and the experience did not disappoint. Ordered the Mexican plate and a burrito. No complaints, came out very fast and was hot. Waiter was amazing. Would eat here again if in the area. :)
I had the al pastor taco plate. I’m not sure it was worth the price I paid. The meat was delicious and the sauces were perfect. I was a little confused by the portions because the food was served in the flat lid of the to-go box (meaning the box was upside down) I suspect it was to limit the portion size? Idk, but at $16.23, I don’t think it was worth the price paid. If I’m in the area again, I might try some other dishes because the tacos were pricy, but good.
One of the best PAPAS restaurants I've been with the best delicious food, so good🤤🤤 I got full I highly recommend 👌 this restaurant u will eat n take an order home n for u workers yes they do have burritos 👍👍👍👍
Hotcakes were dry, gorditas were hard, gorditas filling was satisfying. Menudo was fantastic. Endless spot on Horchata. They do not accept cards...They have an atm right on site but it charges $3.
